The National Service Scheme volunteers in association with Palakkad District Hospital and HDFC Bank hosted a blood donation camp at HSS ANANGANNADI.
Dr. Indu from Palakkad District Hospital talked about the importance of the camp and why is it important to conduct such campaigns at school level even though most of them are not legal blood donors, but can be equipped with awareness for future.
P Chandran inaugurated the camp , precident, Anangannadi panchayath. C P Vanaja though a Zoology teacher talked about the social importance of conducting a blood donation camp through which a symbolic declaration that all human beings are equal is made which breaks the shackles of inequality and discriminations in our society.
The NSS volunteers took part in the camp to make it successful. The Camp was equipped with all facilities to provide good care for the donors and nourish them with snacks and drinks after the donation process. The officials and the volunteers also issued certificates for the donors.



TRK HSS VANIAMKULAM 
8/11/2024

A higher secondary level football tournament was conducted at TRK HSS school ground on 8th November, 2024. NSS volunteers took part in successfully conducting the tournament. Class wise teams were divided accordingly. Second year Humanities students emerged victorious and lifted the trophy after a crushing victory in a thrilling final match against first year commerce students. The principal handed over the trophies to the students.

Palliative Day

The Palliative Club in collaboration with NSS Unit- 301 and IQAC organised a week long commemoration event at the college spanning from 16-01-2024 to 22-01-2024. On 16 th January 2024, a fund collection drive was conducted, raising contributions for palliative case initiatives. On 17 th January 2024, a collection drive for clothes was organised, with generous participation from the students of the college.Class representatives were in charge of collecting the clothings from their respective classes.Finally the collected clothing items were donated to Polygarden, Lakkidi, contributing to the welfare of those in need.

Food Fest

Nss unit of our College hosted a food fest and film festival on March 25, 2024. The food fest spanned from 9 am to 12:30 pm. The event commenced with an inauguration by the college principal, Dr. Ampili Aravind, followed by a welcome speech by Drishya. Dr. Lakshmi, the staff secretary, delivered a facilitation speech, and the formal program concluded with Athira delivering the vote of thanks . Following the formalities, the college enjoyed a bustling food fest featuring 12 unique stalls representing different classes, catering to the enthusiastic participation of students, faculty, and staff. The event concluded successfully with great enthusiasm. In the afternoon, the NSS unit arranged a film festival in the seminar hall, featuring the screening of the recent Malayalam hit movie "Bramayugam."
