Spreading Awareness, Inspiring Change: Anti-Drug Talk at NSSTC Ottapalam

On 26th June 2025, NSS Unit 301 of NSS Training College, Ottapalam, organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Talk in observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The event was held at the General Hall at 2:30 PM and aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free lifestyle.


                                                                                                                                    

The resource person for the day was Mr. Jackson Sunny, Vimukthi Coordinator of the Ottapalam Excise Range. He delivered an insightful and engaging talk on the rising issue of drug addiction among youth and the collective responsibility of society in combating it. 



The session was both informative and inspiring, encouraging students to become ambassadors of anti-drug initiatives. The program was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Smitha R., Principal-in-Charge, and Dr. M. P. Ravi Shankar, Faculty-in-Charge. The event concluded with an interactive session and a vote of thanks.

Free Medical Camp - 16/01/25

Report - 16/01/22 Free Medical Checkup  Today a free Medical Checkup camp was held at NSS Training College Ottapalam. All teachers and students had free medical check ups. A system was set up to check everyone's blood pressure, sugar and hemoglobin. Everyone participated in the camp, which lasted from morning to afternoon. Instructions and medications were given to those with low hemoglobin.
