Constitution Day Observed at NSS Training College, Ottapalam: “Our Constitution – Our Pride”


NSS Training College, Ottapalam observed Constitution Day on 26 November with the inspiring theme “Our Constitution – Our Pride.” The programme was organized to create awareness among students about the values and principles enshrined in the Indian Constitution.


The event began with the ceremonial reading of the Preamble by Prof. Dr. Smitha R (Principal in Charge), reaffirming the institution’s collective commitment to the core constitutional values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. Students actively participated in the pledge led by faculty members, expressing their dedication to uphold the ideals of the Constitution.

 


As part of the celebration, an online Constitution Day Quiz was jointly conducted by the EKTHA College Union and NSS Unit 301. The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from students.
Anagha V (2nd Year, Physical Science) secured first place, and Priyanka M P (2nd Year, Natural Science) won second place. The winners were warmly congratulated for their commendable performance.



The programme successfully fostered a sense of constitutional awareness, national pride, and responsibility among students, reinforcing the importance of living by the values of the Indian Constitution.
