We conducted science fair on October 3 ,2024 at 10:45 am on noon meal hall. The science  fair witnessed great enthusiasm and blooming participation from children of diverse classes, who had the unique opportunity of exploring as well as expressing their creative scientific ideas in the form of activities, models and projects. The event gave a diverse hands on experience to children, wherein they could translate the theoretical scientific principles into the mode of application in the form of observable phenomena. The fair was filled with the ideas of young minds in different areas like paper craft, clay model, products from waste material, science projects, book binding. The best science  projects are selected for sub district sasthrolsavam.

The Palliative Club in collaboration with NSS Unit- 301 and IQAC organised a week long commemoration event at the college spanning from 16-01-2024 to 22-01-2024. On 16 th January 2024, a fund collection drive was conducted, raising contributions for palliative case initiatives. On 17 th January 2024, a collection drive for clothes was organised, with generous participation from the students of the college.Class representatives were in charge of collecting the clothings from their respective classes.Finally the collected clothing items were donated to Polygarden, Lakkidi, contributing to the welfare of those in need.

Food Fest

Nss unit of our College hosted a food fest and film festival on March 25, 2024. The food fest spanned from 9 am to 12:30 pm. The event commenced with an inauguration by the college principal, Dr. Ampili Aravind, followed by a welcome speech by Drishya. Dr. Lakshmi, the staff secretary, delivered a facilitation speech, and the formal program concluded with Athira delivering the vote of thanks . Following the formalities, the college enjoyed a bustling food fest featuring 12 unique stalls representing different classes, catering to the enthusiastic participation of students, faculty, and staff. The event concluded successfully with great enthusiasm. In the afternoon, the NSS unit arranged a film festival in the seminar hall, featuring the screening of the recent Malayalam hit movie "Bramayugam." Overall, it was an enjoyable and unforgettable event.

world Water Day

Date: March 22,2024 On March 22, 2024, NSS Training College,Ottapalam, organized a program titled "Energy Management" at the College Auditorium. The Energy Club, in collaboration with the NSS unit of the college, spearheaded this initiative. The program commenced at 10 am with a solemn prayer and Acharya Anusmaranam by the students, setting a respectful tone for the event. Dr. Seema Menon KP, the teacher coordinator of the Energy Club, delivered the welcome speech, extending warm greetings to all attendees. Following the welcome, Prof. Dr. Ampili Aravind, the esteemed principal of the college, delivered the inaugural address.
