Material Collection for Wayanad

Today, a group of around 10 NSS volunteers from our college took the initiative to collect items for relief camps in Wayanad. The volunteers visited local shops and purchased essential items such as food, sanitary napkins new clothes, brushes, pastes etc .Generous shop owners also contributed freely to the cause.

The volunteers were divided into two groups for efficient collection. After gathering the items, they, along with NSS program officer Dr. Sunil sir , handed over the collected items to the principal. The collected items will be transported to the relief camps in Wayanad.

In addition to the contributions from our college, Mayilumpuram BEd College and local shops like Royal in Otappalam also donated clothes and other necessities. Teachers from our college provided financial support, further adding to the relief supplies.
