NSS TRAINING COLLEGE NSS UNIT 301

October 2, 2024 As a part of Swachhata Hi Seva Program in relation to Gandhi Jayanti , cleaning program was conducted by NSS unit 301 of NSS Training College Ottapalam under the guidance of NSS Program Officer Prof (Dr). Sunil Kumar .              Fifty volunteers along with   other students divided into groups cleaned the premises from Ottapalam TB road to Taluk hospital road.                    Four sacks of plastic waste was collected as part of this program. The program  reinforced the importance of community service to the students.               Few of the NSS volunteers also engaged in preparing boiled tapioca, crushed onions with chilly and black coffee as lunch for the teachers and students present at the cleaning service. REPORT  Paper Bag Making GVHSS Pathiripala  04/10/24 We conducted a Paper Bag making program for some students of GVHSS Pathiripala.The training program was conducted for students of 9B, in their class.The students were categorised into 4 groups and a sheet of newspaper was given to all students.They made the Paper Bag according to the instructions given by the teachers, Athira.M and Sabarinath.K. All the students were actively participated in the session.The children were convinced to use paper bags and cloth bags instead of using plastic bags.
