NSS TRAINING COLLEGE NSS UNIT 301

 As part of National Voter's Day NSS Unit - 301 of NSS Training College Ottapalam conducted a Quiz Competition on 24/01/2024 at the College Auditorium. 5 teams from different optional classes participated in the  competition.One team consisted of two members.NSS volunteer Krishnajith was the quiz coordinator . There were 25 questions.First year BEd Mathematics students were the winners. Second and third place were received by the Malayalam and English options respectively.

  As part of palliative awareness week, our Palliative Club in collaboration with NSS Unit and IQAC of NSS Training College Ottapalam conducting programs from 16-01-2024 to 22-02024. On day 5 of palliative awareness week our Mathematics Department conducted a flash mob based on the theme ‘Palliative Care’.Through this flash mob Mathematics department impart the message “Palliative care is an act of love, providing comfort and peace to those in need”.

The Palliative Club in collaboration with NSS Unit- 301 and IQAC organised a week long commemoration event at the college spanning from 16-01-2024 to 22-01-2024. On 16 th January 2024, a fund collection drive was conducted, raising contributions for palliative case initiatives. On 17 th January 2024, a collection drive for clothes was organised, with generous participation from the students of the college.Class representatives were in charge of collecting the clothings from their respective classes.Finally the collected clothing items were donated to Polygarden, Lakkidi, contributing to the welfare of those in need.
