  NSS training College Ottapalam Organized an Orientation Programme on the topic " Revitalizing Quality Initiatives Within Higher Education Institutions" in association with National Service Scheme and IQAC on 16th February 2024. College principal Prof.(Dr.)Ampili Aravind welcomed the resource person and  Honorable  resource person Prof (Dr.) K.P Meera delivered the invited lecture and  encouraged the students by her enlightening words.  Finally, M.Ed Second year student  Mohacina Saji M M delivered the vote of thanks.

 NSS Training College, Ottapalam orchestrated a noteworthy event in commemoration of Women's Day. The collaborative efforts of the Women Development Cell, the Department of Women and Child Development, the NSS Unit, and IQAC culminated in the grandeur of the Kanal Fest held on February 15, 2024, within the hallowed halls of the institution. The solemnity of the occasion was inaugurated with a prayer led by the college students, setting a contemplative tone for the proceedings. Mr. Nithin CC, a distinguished Gender Specialist from Palakkad, extended a warm welcome, laying the foundation for an enlightening day. The Presidential Address, a pivotal moment, was eloquently delivered by Smt. Sreeja PM, CDPO Ottapalam Additional, infusing the event with substance and gravitas.  NSS Training College, Ottapalam conducted a One Day Medical Inspection Camp in association with National Service Scheme and Medical Inspection Committee. College principal Prof.(Dr.)Ampili Aravind inaugurated the function. Dr. Rajan T (Naturopathy and Yoga)  delivered the invited lecture on the topic "How to live without medicine" and NSS volunteer secretary Vishnu K V gave vote of thanks. As part of this medical Inspection Camp a Free Whole Body Checkup was also conducted in the College Seminar Hall.
